Some of Australia's most promising new rally drivers have shown what they are capable of in Leg 1 of this weekend's Quit Forest Rally.Â
Young Victorians Will Orders, Brendan Reeves and Glen Raymond, all in Subarus, finished the heat in fifth, seventh and eighth positions, respectively, whilst WA duo James and Chris Anderson, also in Subarus, finished in ninth and tenth places.
Molly Taylor was impressive in her F16 Mitsubish Mirage, finishing the day in 14th overall.
"I'm really happy. It's been a big learning curve. We got a puncture, but apart from that, have had no dramas and I'm having lots of fun", Taylor commented.
The rally concludes in Bussellton this afternoon after another eight forest stages.
