Having finished third in the Production World Rally Championship in 2010, then first in 2011, Paddon moved into the Super 2000 class for 2012 and finished fourth in the championship
2013 came around and it was seemingly a make-or-break year for the Kiwi driver.
Consistent performances in the WRC’s support categories meant it was time to take the next step, and that was in a top-level car.
Paddon was in discussions with teams about getting into the door for a top-line drive, and due to the limited budget the Kiwi had, there was a limited chances available.
