4 wheels, but only 3 cylinders – Toyota’s new GR Yaris AP4

Toyota’s factory AP4 rally cars will run a brand new, 3-cylinder engine when they make their debut in the 2021 Australian Rally Championship.

The Neal Bates Motorsport team will build two new-shape Yaris' for the upcoming season, and for the most part, the cars will be similar to the current model.

"The new car is based on the GR Yaris, which is a 4WD, turbocharged car to start with," Harry Bates told RallySport Magazine.
