Alongside our regular subscriber-based content on our RallySport Magazine website, the new Special Stage podcast will delve into the news and views of rallying, and is free to listen to on your favourite podcast platform.

Our first episode, released today (Thursday), features Luke & Peter Whitten discussing Rallye Monte Carlo, and concludes with an in-depth interview with Harry Bates who discusses his 2022 season and how things are shaping up for 2023.

He speaks for the first time to RallySport Magazine about his Coffs Coast Rally accident, and is candid in his understanding and learnings from the crash. He also gives an update on the significant repairs taking place on his GR Yaris.

Taking its name from a regular column of our former publication, Australian Rallysport News, ‘Special Stage’ is an apt name for our new podcast.

It will include many of our ‘must have’ discussions and cover the news on RallySport Magazine in depth. Like in episode one with Harry Bates, we’ll continue to record long-form interviews and have them available to listen to on these podcast episodes.

So, if you’ve got a commute, a ride or a run in your schedule, set the headphones to our new podcast and listen to your heart’s content.
