Black Springs in NSW hosted a test day for the upcoming AMSAG rally series on Saturday, ahead of the first round next month. Twenty-five cars were in attendance, with drivers running over three stages, with no limit on the number of runs they could do. Many crews were testing Hoosier's new ARC control tyre, and some teams did over 200km of testing on the day. "Nathan Quinn was there testing in Ron Moore's 'Reliance Bank' Evo, as well as driving and giving feedback to several other teams on their cars' set up and performance," photographer Dave King reported. "Rookie Taylor Gill put in some kilometres before Canberra, NSW rally regulars Tom Clarke, Tim Wilkins, Dean Ridge, Andrew Chapman and Bethany Cullen also attended, "Classic Outback Trial winner, Andrew Travis, tested out his new Mitsubishi off-road truck, and some new cars made an appearance, including a VW Golf with JJ Hatton at the wheel." The first round of the AMSAG rally series is the Wagga and District Car Club's Rosewood Rally on April 18th in the Carabost Forest.
