AMSAG postpones round two of series

Round two of the AMSAG Southern Cross Rally Series, the North Coast Rally, has been postponed. "Unfortunately the North Coast Rally scheduled to run on 15th August has been postponed," an event statement said this morning. "AMSAG is committed to providing its competitors with top class rallies and while it is disappointing to have to postpone the event, we do so knowing that the rescheduled event will be every bit as amazing as we want it to be, and a later date will allow us the time to overcome some issues we were presented with in the lead up to this rally. "We're in talks with Forestries to find a new date for this year and will update you all as soon as we have it locked in." The opening round of the AMSAG series was cut short after Nathan Quinn crashed his Lancer Evo X, and road conditions in the Bulahdelah Rally deteriorated late in the event.
