Proving that her win in the Bulldog International Rally of Wales was no fluke, Molly Taylor has again taken victory in round 2 of the Swift Sporting Cup, the Pirelli International Rally.

After completing two stages on Day 1 of the event, which is run as part of the British Rally Championship, Taylor, and co-driver, Jemma Bellingham, sat in third place after a bent steering arm, suffered in SS1, slowed the pair. After overnight repairs, Taylor came out firing and set the fastest stage time on the first stage of the day. By SS6, she had moved into first place by 1.2 seconds.

After SS7, Molly was in second place, 2.9 seconds behind, but she regained the lead in SS11 where she remained for the rest of the event.(SS 8, 9 and 10 were all cancelled due to a fire in the car of Guy Wilks.)

A delighted Taylor said after the rally, "It was a great event - very tough and challenging. The car was absolutely fantastic and I would really like to thank to MonsterSport and all the team for the work they have put in."

Taylor's next event is the Jim Clark International Rally on May 22 & 23.
