Respected Australian co-driver Ray Baker will contest the Rally America Championship in 2008 – a far cry from his most recent competition efforts at the wheel of his own Daihatsu Charade.
Baker, who is handy on both sides of a rally car, will team up with Zach Babcock from Michigan in an ex-factory Dodge SRT-4 rally car that will run in the G5 class of the US championship.
Baker and Babcock’s first event together will be the Sno*Drift Rally on January 25 and 26 next year.
It will be Canberra-based Baker’s first event on snow.
