Reigning Australian Rally Champions, Neal Bates and Coral Taylor, will contest the first round of the ARC in Tasmania from February 13-15.
Despite Toyota withdrawing their factory support from all Australian motorsport on Tuesday evening, Bates has entered Rally Tasmania, and will contest the all-tarmac event.
"I want to keep going, but I don't want to send myself broke," Bates told the Herald Sun. He will also contest round two of the championship, his home event in Canberra.
It is believed that Simon Evans may also compete at Rally Tasmania, most likely in a Corolla, although neither car will have factory backing.
