The new generation WRC cars do battle in the Southern Hemisphere for the first time at Rally Argentina, from April 28 to 30. Â
Hayden Paddon John Kennard won in Argentina in 2016.It will also be the first time Hayden Paddon and John Kennard are defending champions in a WRC event, having scored their debut win in 2016 following a blistering El Condor Power Stage win. Â
Sebastien Ogier has never won in Argentina and will be hungry for victory on the only current WRC event he has not won.
An unfortunate clash of dates has International Rally of Whangarei occurring the same weekend, meaning fewer Kiwi supporters will be in Argentina than might otherwise have been expected. Â
Whangarei is the opening round of Asia Pacific Rally Championship and second round of New Zealand Rally Championship. Â
