Italian rally driver, Lorenzo Bertelli, was back in a rally car in his home nation yesterday. Bertelli, who is the heir to fashion company, Prada, finished third in WRC2 in 2014 was behind the wheel of his Ford Fiesta WRC for a two-day test. The 32 year old competed in Sweden and Chile last year, a couple of rare appearances since his full-time WRC entries in 2015 and 2016. Pirelli tyres were used on the test.

Bertelli finished 13th in Chile last season.

It is the first Fiesta WRC to get back in action after the COVID-19 lockdown. Ford's factory team, M-Sport, have indicated that they will be starting their testing with a filming day for Motorsport UK in the coming weeks. There is no indication of whether Bertelli will make a return to the WRC stages this season.
