The Australian Rally Championship will continue to be a six-round series next year, despite the loss of Rally Australia from the calendar. The WRC-qualifying event has been the final round of the ARC in recent years, but it has not yet been decided where the final event will be held for 2020. "We're talking to government parties at the moment with the sixth event likely to run in either NSW or Queensland," CAMS' Michael Smith said this week. "Tourism NSW has supported the WRC and ARC for many years and we're talking closely with them." The ARC will begin with the National Capital Rally in March, which is expected to revert to a two-day format for 2020. The calendar is likely to be released in the coming days.
