Carabost Rallysprint on track for October 10

A closed-to-club rallysprint is being planned by the Wagga and District Car Club, to run in the Carabost Forest on Sunday, October 10. The event will offer competitors 100 kilometres of competitive distance, over two stages run four times each. The rallysprint will run under an AMSAG permit with an entry fee of $320 day. Initially, the event will only be open to Wagga club members, whoever, if the field capacity is not reached, then those outside the club may be allowed to enter, subject to the COVID-19 restrictions in place at the time. The rallysprint will be run in the Carabost pine plantation, which has hosted many rounds of the NSW Rally Championship over the years, and the occasional Australian championship event.
