Cody Crocker’s plans to contest the Australian and New Zealand rounds of the Asia-Pacific Rally Championship for the Cusco Racing team have ended.

The four-time APRC Champion has said that the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan has forced the cancellation of the program.

“That’s a blow, but my heart goes out to all those who have a whole lot more to deal with than missing a few rallies,” Crocker told radio show, Total Rally.

However, it’s not all bad news for the Victorian, with an entry in this year’s four-round Malaysian Championship.

Crocker will drive for GSR Team Pennzoil Racing, with the first round in Johor Bahru on April 1.
