DMack has reiterated its intention to continue its WRC activities in the forthcoming season alongside its declared development programme announced this month. A spokesman stated: "Yes, DMACK is planning to homologate 2018 WRC (list 2) and WRC2 (list 1) tyres, DMACK is expecting to have a regular presence in WRC in 2018, and no major changes to the WRC tyre rules (not to be confirmed by the FIA next month) are anticipated for 2018.” As announced earlier, the big news is that the company intends to use 2018 to shift from generating brand awareness to product development, while it "aims to retain a full time presence in the WRC (in 2018)". No announcements of partnerships with teams have yet been announced.
