Young Australian rally and rallycross driver, Troy Dowel, has reached another milestone on his recovery road as he continues his quest to reach the heights of motorsport.
Dowel, 19, is recovering from chemotherapy and made his first steps back in the gym recently.
"It’s been a very long time coming but Troy is finally back in the gym rebuilding his body," his Facebook page said of the milestone.
Troy Dowel is back in the gym.
"He is getting more excited and motivated to get back to Europe next year after a very difficult 18 months of chemo."
Dowel was in Europe competing in the RX Academy when he was forced off the stages due to the illness.
