Dually lucky – Bond’s two Escorts

For most of us, driving a BDA Escort, let alone owning one is a pipe dream, but for David Bond, it became a reality – twice.

Bond is a rally man from way back, but he spent some 40 years removed from the sport due to work, life, and other commitments.

David is the 1975 Victorian Rally Champion in a Mitsubishi Lancer, but shortly after that, his rally career seemed to disappear.
