Fall out from Rally Queensland must be positive

The decision to cancel last weekend’s Rally Queensland has been as divisive as it was controversial, with many crews at odds over whether the road conditions were safe or not.

From an outsider's point of view, it's impossible to make an informed decision on whether the call was right or not, but we do know that the Brisbane Sporting Car Club are devastated that the rally didn't go ahead.

Many meetings and much lobbying went on over Friday and Saturday to get the rally off the ground, but ultimately, once the decision was made to cancel the rally, there was no going back.
