New premium “Fanatic Zones” will offer fans an extra-exciting spectating experience from prime locations at Coates Hire Rally Australia on the New South Wales Coffs Coast on 11-14 September.

The Fanatic Zones, located at the East Coast Bullbars Rally Village on Saturday 13 September and VisitNSW.com Rally Village the following day, will offer fans even better viewing and facilities for a modest extra cash charge at the gate.

The Rally Villages at the Graces spectator point on Saturday’s 50km Nambucca stage and Flooded Gum on Wedding Bells stage on Sunday, already promise some of the best viewing among the 13 dedicated daytime spectator points available to ticket holders.

For an extra $10 on Saturday and $15 on Sunday, fans in the Fanatic Zones will enjoy superior views of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) action, shade and seating, gourmet Australian BBQ food, cash bars and live music.

The Rally Villages already will provide live expert commentary, easy driving access and ample parking, souvenir shops and toilets. Cars in the WRC, East Coast Bullbars Australian Rally Championship, Australian Classic Rally Challenge and Australian Side-by-Side Rally Challenge will race past the spectator points in the morning and afternoon, ensuring almost non-stop entertainment.

All ticket holders can take the free Michelin Shuttle bus service from the Hi-Tec Oils Service Park in Coffs Harbour.

“Fanatic Zones are an innovation in our expanded Rally Villages and part of our aim to offer event fans more and better spectating choices,” Rally Australia Event Manager David Catchpole said.

“The extra cost is modest but the benefits are terrific – and, of course, for those who do choose to purchase Fanatic Zone access, the free Michelin Shuttle bus from the service park makes the whole experience even better because it takes away the hassle of driving.”

The Fanatic Zone at the East Coast Bullbars Rally Village will have great views of the World Rally cars as they sweep down a flowing downhill section and into a 90-degree left turn.

On Sunday, the VisitNSW.com Rally Village will feature multiple vantage points along a valley and forest ridge line.

The stage includes a water splash, while Fanatic Zone spectators will get a front-row view of the Hyundai Jump, where cars will take to the air at speed.

Tickets to Coates Hire Rally Australia are available via the NRMAtix link at www.rallyaustralia.com.au. The most popular ticket is the Adult WRC Super Pass, priced from $150, which provides entry to every day and night spectator point.

Comprehensive spectator instructions, including maps, are available to view or download at www.rallyaustralia.com.au.
