We are so familiar with the idea of sons following their fathers into motorsport careers, but the truth is that had fate not intervened, Harry might have been lining up for the Olympics rather than the Australian Rally Championship.
As it was, Harry was almost a professional athlete, studying race walking at the Australian Institute of Sport, when there was a change of policy and funding was withdrawn for what he was doing. So that door was closed, and he turned his attention to the rally team.
