Following a meeting of the World Rally Championship Commission, the 2010 FIA World Rally Championship calendar is now finalised, as follows. In accordance with the decisions of the World Motor Sport Council (June 2009), event organisers have been given flexibility to evolve the character of their events to create a unique flavour.
Rallies may run over two, three or four days, but must finish on a Saturday or Sunday.
Individual schedules will be communicated by event organisers, but for simplicity Sunday is noted below as the current completion date of the rally.
14 February: Sweden 07 March: Mexico 04 April: Jordan 18 April: Turkey 09 May: New Zealand 30 May: Portugal 10 July: Bulgaria (Saturday finish) 01 August: Finland 22 August: Germany 12 September: Japan 03 October: France 24 October: Spain 14 November: Great Britain
The following calendars have been proposed, but are subject to ratification by the World Motor Sport Council on 21 October 2009.
FIA Junior World Rally Championship - 5 out of 6 events to count 18 April: Turkey 30 May: Portugal 10 July: Bulgaria (Saturday finish) 22 August: Germany 03 October: France 24 October: Spain
FIA Production Car World Rally Championship - 6 out of 9 events to count, including at least 2 outside Europe 14 February: Sweden 07 March: Mexico 04 April: Jordan 09 May: New Zealand 01 August: Finland 22 August: Germany 12 September: Japan 03 October: France 14 November: Great Britain
WRC Cup (for S2000 teams) - 7 out of 10 events to count, including at least 2 outside Europe 14 February: Sweden 07 March: Mexico 04 April: Jordan 09 May: New Zealand 30 May: Portugal 01 August: Finland 22 August: Germany 12 September: Japan 03 October: France 14 November: Great Britain
