Fibertech Medical Australia’s, Gerald Schofield, has turned back the clocks by rejoining with former co-driver, Ray Baker, for an assault on the National 4WD Rally Series in his trusty Mitsubishi Lancer EVO.
Schofield and Baker finished third in the 2006 Australian Rally Championship Privateers Cup when they competed together. The duo recently teamed up in the Australasian Safari, finishing a commendable seventh outright and plans were then put in place for an ARC campaign for 2014. Baker is excited to be again sitting next to the driver that gave him his start at national level.
The team will have experienced rally engineer, Scott Preston, overseeing the preparation of the Lancer for their 2014 campaign. Their season kicks off with the series opener, the National Capital Rally at Canberra from February 28 to March 2.
