We’ve gone deep into our archives to find this classic footage of Greg Carr and co-driver Freg Gocentas in the 1984 Alpine Rally.
The pairing competed in their WRC-winning Fiat 131 Abarth and were leading until an engine failure.
Based in Bright in North Eastern Victoria, the rally was a fan favourite for many years.
The Alpine Rally is now based in East Gippsland.
