Force Motorsport have completed the build of their new 1600cc Mazda AP4 car, which is to be tested by a pair of international drivers in the coming weeks.

(Photo: Peter Whitten)The car complies fully with the AP4 rules, although driver Andrew Hawkeswood is likely to continue to run the AP4+ car that the team have run across the opening half of the New Zealand Rally Championship season.
Australian Brendan Reeves, who won a round of the NZRC last year in a Force Motorsport Mazda, will be one of the test drivers.
It is likely the team will put guest drivers in the new car for at least one of the remaining three rounds.
