Headline footage developed and uploaded by Ford will be located in the prime space at the top of the page, with additional material produced by the team accessible alongside. This will include specially produced preview and post-event vodcasts from each round of the WRC, which will be uploaded on the Friday morning of each rally and the Monday after each event respectively.
Mid-season and end-of-year reviews will be made available, as well as activities involving team drivers Mikko Hirvonen and Jarmo Lehtinen and team-mates Jari-Matti Latvala and Miikka Anttila both on- and off-event. The page can be accessed directly at www.youtube.com/fordwrc.
The page will also provide a link to allow fans free access to the team's website at www.wrcford.com. Comprehensive news, results, photographs and information from the team can be viewed there.
"This channel is aimed at devoted rally fans, people who have a genuine passion for the sport and who will visit on a regular basis to view recently added footage," said Gerard Quinn, Ford of Europe's motorsport chief. "Our drivers and team members are involved in many activities that often remain unseen by fans. We want to make these available for everyone to view. The wider the range of content, the more enjoyable the team's You Tube channel will be for visitors.
"We recognise the increasing importance of social media channels and this outlet will allow our fans around the world to become more closely involved with the team," added Quinn.
