Citroen Racing plan to run anything from two to four 2017 C3 World Rally Cars on WRC events in 2017.

The first time a third car will be run will be in Corsica, and Portugal will be the first time all four will take part.

The team will run four cars at Rally Australia in November, which is a real coup for the event after the Citroen team did not take part in 2016.

The C3 WRC development team have had 10 separate test sessions so far, covering about 9500km. The car was officially homologated on December 13.

Details released by the four active 2017 WRC teams indicate that all four cars have remarkably identical engine dimensions, the bore ranging from 83mm to 84mm.

The shortest car is the Toyota at 4085mm, and the longest is the Fiesta at 4130mm.  The Fiesta, however, has the shortest wheelbase, and the longest is the Hyundai Coupe.
