Due to budget restricitions, popular Italian Gigi Galli has announced he will not be competing in this year's Rally Argentina.
Argentinian fans will be disappointed not to see the charismatic Galli competing, however he will still do the pre-event recce.
Galli had planned to enter eight events in this year's World Rally Championship on board a Citroën Xsara WRC serviced by the Aimont Racing Team, however the decision by one of his sponsors not to support this event, has caused him to re-think his plans.
This would have been Galli’s fourth time in Rally Argentina . In 2004 and 2005 he drove a Mitsubishi Lancer, while last year he finished third overall in a Peugeot 307 WRC.
