Geoff Portman loses his battle with cancer

RallySport Magazine is deeply saddened to advise its readers of the passing of Australian rally great, Geoff Portman.
Geoff reached his final Special Stage Finish on Tuesday evening, April 20, following a long and courageous fight with cancer.
He passed away peacefully in hospital in Melbourne with members of his family by his side.
Geoff brought life and joy and excitement into our sport, taking Australia’s top rally honour in 1981 and again in 1982.
He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
