After a dismal start to the championship in their new Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X, the crew made the tough decision to concentrate on the APRC part of Rally Queensland and the coinciding Pirelli Star Driver Competition, which gives young drivers around the world a chance to win a free drive in the World Rally Championship.
Glen Raymond, who is busy at Blackwell Bodyworks helping freshen up the car after his small off road excursion at the Coffs Coast Rally, is still positive about the season ahead.
"Obviously it is very disappointing missing out on the rally," said driver Glen. "However, I made the decision to re-group before the next important event. The car is very competitive, but I will do some testing as I want to make sure the car is spot on to give the Pirelli Star and the Asia Pacific part of the event my best efforts."
