Golden Egg Farms will be supporting a WA team of entrants in the up coming Quit Targa West Rally. The team will consist of eight local entrants who will compete against an array of Eastern States competitors.

Golden Egg Farms is a locally owned company that has previously supported entrants in the World Rally Championship and likes to support WA community against outside competition.

The team will include;

Tolley Challis & Greg Flood, a long running state and national competitor having won State and International Rally championships. Leanne McKenna who will partner with Alex Kirkhouse, in the events only all girls team, Mike Moylan and Kim Chance, in their monster Ford, Paul Budgeon and his daughter, Cassy who are entering for the seocnd time after achieving some good results last year, Stewart & John Liddle, Simon Lingford has entered before this year, his wife, Suzanna an accomplished driver in her own right will co-drive. Simon has competed in lots of Targa events and also contested the London to Sydney marathon. Phil Steel, our own CEO & Mark Sforcina who are entering a tarmac rally for the first time and, Martin Eyres & Alan Blackmore in a rare Triumph TR8.

The cars will display the Golden Egg Farms logo with the “Just Laid” tag line, which sums up the freshness of WA Laid Eggs.

“The majority of our eggs are delivered to stores within 24 hours of being laid”, said Phil, so “Just Laid” is a perfect fit.

The Rally starts tomorrow, September 7, and finishes on Sunday.
