The car popped up at the Super Special Stage, and those with a keen eye around the service park had the chance to look up close.
On Thursday afternoon, the car was used as part of a TV segment with its former driver, Dean Herridge, and was turning heads left, right, and centre.
Herridge drove this car for Subaru Rally Team Australia in 2005, then purchased it after the factory team dissolved at the end of that year.
Alongside Bill Hayes, Herridge won the ARC round at the Subaru Safari Tasmania in 2006 with this car, and its overall history is well worth telling.
