How Paddon helped Reeves turn the corner

Adjustments to Brendan Reeves’ Hyundai i20 N R5 on Saturday night in Canberra unlocked more speed, allowing the Victorian to chase the leaders.

It was a chat with former Hyundai WRC star, Hayden Paddon, a former driver of his car, that helped him to make the necessary changes that eventually saw him winning stages.

Reeves was struggling with a number of small issues on the Saturday on the rally, but improved on Sunday to be just 6.5 seconds off the leader during the final day’s action.
