Event directors in Victoria seem to be banging their heads against a brick wall at the moment, but hopes are still high of events taking place before the end of the year. The Historic Rally Association's Bagshot Rallysprint is one of those events, and event spokesman, Graham Wallis, is keen for it to go ahead. The club have a committee meeting later this month, where a new date will be chosen, Wallis told RallySport Magazine. By that stage the HRA should have more details on Victoria's easing of Coronavirus restrictions, and what that means for public events moving forward. The Bagshot event is run on private property near Bendigo, which may mean it is a little easier to conduct a rally. Victoria's return to rallying is planned to be on October 26 with the running of the Valley Stages, but that event is still not certain to go ahead, despite having over 60 entries so far. The numbers of people allowed in public gatherings will likely determine whether the event can run or not.
