In memory: Jeff Whitten, 1942 – 2023

The RallySport Magazine family is mourning the loss of our founder, Jeff Whitten, who passed away peacefully on December 6.
Widely respected in the motorsport community, Jeff held a deep passion for rallying that spawned Australian Rallysport News in 1989 and continues to this day with the online RallySport Magazine website.
A director of over 100 motorsport events since he took up rallying in 1965, he was inducted into the Australian Rally Hall of Fame in 2015.
Most of all, Jeff was a family man and a friend to all, and he’ll be sadly missed.
He leaves his wife of 58 years, Betty, two children, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
May he rest in peace.
