The itinerary of the Japanese national championship Shinshiro Rally (November 3/4), confirmed by WRC Promoter as the Candidate event being observed for suitability as the projected return of Japan to the FIA World Rally Championship, has been published.
It shows that there will be 15 stages, with a total of 109km competitive distance, with no stages longer than 12km and a 600 metre Super Special run three times. The total distance of this event will be 387km.
The event is being based 50km from Nagoya and 30km from Toyota City.
The status of Rally Japan within the 2019 World Rally Championship calendar is expected to be announced at the World Motor Sport Council on October 12.
