South Australian native, Jack Monkhouse, has thrown his hat in the ring for next year's Rally of the Heartland. Monkhouse has entered his classic Datsun 180B SSS, and will send the car over from Sydney (where he now resides) for a run out in the wind farms! Teaming up with him will be usual suspect, Dale Moscatt, ready to enjoy the best roads the Mid North (the Heartland of SA) has to offer! “We can’t wait to get out there and put the Datto through its paces on the fast shire roads and give the old girl a good workout before November’s famous Alpine Rally,” Monkhouse said. The pair won the Alpine Rally in 2015, but the car has undergone several rebuilds since that famous victory.
