Kubica looks ahead – but is it to WRC?
- 2nd October 2016, 9:15am
Former Formula 1, and more recently WRC driver, Robert Kubica, turned up in Corsica – as a spectator! He explained the dilemmas of his motorsport career.
“The way this year has developed, it was not the best for driving. I am missing rallying, but the rallying I did last year didn’t make any sense in my view,” Kubica said.
“To be honest, if I’m driving I want to be in the position to fight, or at least the chance to be competitive. Of course last year’s rallies were hard, which was why it’s a bit disappointing that I am not able to continue this year.
“I don’t know what I will be doing next year so its difficult for me to say anything. If there is no WRC for me I will be back on the circuits, that is very clear for me.
“I am in good shape because I have a lot of time to spend on the bike in training. I want to compete on a high level.”
