The devastating Victorian bushfires that ripped through Marysville has forced the cancellation.
"Our deepest sympathies go out to those who have lost family and friends, and our thoughts and best wishes go out to everybody impacted," event spokesman, Tim McNeilly, said.
"We are moving ahead with the Mt Buller Sprint later in the year, and are close to finalising the date."
The Mt Buller Sprint will either be held from October 23-25, or from December 4-6.
