Lewis rejoices in home rally success

Lewis Bates and Anthony McLoughlin are the Rally of Canberra champions for 2025 after a faultless drive over two tough days.

Driving their Toyota GR Yaris Rally2, they finished second on both days of the rally to claim a popular victory in front of a parochial home-town crowd.

After the early demise of Hayden Paddon on day two, Harry Bates took the Heat 2 win, ahead of his brother and the Skoda Fabia of Scott Pedder which suffered its second right-hand front puncture in two days.
