Perth based LF Performance Products (LFP) are continuing to support motorsport in Western Australia by providing opportunities for local crews to compete in a variety of events in their own state.

Most recently they have thrown their support behind Killarnée Targa South West, a brand new tarmac event that will be held in Pemberton and the Shire of Manjimup, Western Australia this coming weekend.

LFP is a Perth based Performance Workshop owned by Kim Ledger, specialising in the design and fabrication of racecar components.

From the building and tuning of race engines to providing rollover protection, alloy radiators, intercoolers, fuel tanks, surge, purge and catch cans, LFP help to prepare vehicles that contest local, national and international motorsport events.

“I am supporting Killarnée Targa South West because I see it as giving back to the sport that many of my customers participate in,” Ledger said.

“LF Performance Products build a lot of cars that are used to compete in events such Killarnée Targa South West so by supporting the event I am supporting my customers and providing them with another opportunity to compete,” Ledger said.

“I believe tarmac rallying is one of the fastest growing forms of motorsport in Australia, if not the world, and it’s a great environment to encourage people of all skill levels, from beginners to the top echelon, to compete in a safe and fun environment.

“Killarnée Targa South West, as with other tarmac rally events, will provide a fantastic environment for competition as well as social and networking opportunities for West Australian teams,” Ledger continued.

Killarnée Targa South West Event Director Bob Schrader is delighted to have LF Performance Products as a Gold Level Sponsor for Killarnée Targa South West.

“Kim (Ledger) is a strong supporter of motorsport in Western Australia and LF Performance Products support teams competing in a variety of events, from WA Road and Track events to Hill Climbs and rallies and we are proud to be working alongside them to stage Killarnée Targa South West,” Schrader said.

Killarnée Targa South West has been designed to give competitors the opportunity to gain more experience under tarmac rallying conditions and will run as a non-competitive, timed event.

All competitors in Killarnée Targa South West will be guaranteed a slot in Quit Targa West providing their vehicle meets the required CAMS Tarmac Rally Technical Regulations.
