Sebastien Loeb leads Marcus Gronholm by 19 seconds at the end of day two of the Rally of Argentina.

With Friday's seven regular stages having been wiped out by bad weather, the event effectively began on Saturday and Loeb instantly took control.

Five consecutive stage wins put him in charge of the rally he has won for the last two years.

Petter Solberg was forced out on stage 17 with mechanical problems, lifting Mikko Hirvonen into third.

Chris  Atkinson lies a distant sixth after a steady day.

Tomorrow's final leg will be extended from four to five stages to ensure that the two-thirds of the original itinerary is completed - a mandatory requirement if the rally is to count for world championship points.
