They weren't present in Finland when rivals Toyota and Hyundai tested recently, but M-Sport will return to the stages in Italy late in July.
Works drivers Teemu Suninen and Esapekka Lappi won't be present, but the company will run a World Rally Car for Italian driver "Pedro".
Adrien Fourreaux will drive a Fiesta R5 MkII in an event that will also feature Dani Sordo and Pierre-Louis Loubet in i20 WRCs.
“It’s fantastic to be looking forward to a rally again. Rome might not normally have been on our radar for the World Rally Car, but it’s great to be getting Pedro out in a current specification car," team boss Malcolm Wilson told DirtFish.
“It’s imperative for us as a team and as a business to get back out on the stages and start showing what our car can do and why people should be buying Fiestas.”
Rally di Roma runs from July 24-26 and is the opening round of the revised European Rally Championship.
