British rally driver, Kris Meeke, had called time on his WRC career after being dumped by Toyota Gazoo Racing.
With the fight for the remaining M-Sport seats going on in earnest, Meeke announced via social media:

Meeke leaves the WRC with five wins to his name from 104 starts.
He was a polarising figure in the sport. While his speed was unquestioned, he was also prone to accidents, much like his mentor, the late Colin McRae.
