Victoria’s Gippsland Rally is adding more kilometres to its Sunday itinerary and keeping the well-known stages it runs on Saturday.
The rally will run for the third time as part of the national series in 2024 and will continue its partnership with the local Council and base the event at Heyfield.
Wellington Shire Council’s tourism line is “The Middle of Everywhere”, and the council's support for the rally is not dampening.
Clerk of Course for the event, Andrew Roseman, spoke to RallySport Magazine about the progress of preparations.
“The plans are coming along really well,” he said. “The route has been finalised, so Saturday remains pretty much unchanged for the ARC and the VRC.”
Immediately eminent from the first line of questioning was the unchanged route for Saturday.
