Hayden Paddon will participate in the famous RallyLegend in San Marino in October, driving a Hyundai i20 WRC from private team HMI - Hyundai Italian Team.
The move will give Paddon extra tarmac experience, something the Kiwi is lacking.
"It's an honour to be invited to compete in RallyLegend, an event I have seen and heard a lot about. The atmosphere, history and huge array of WRC cars, old and new, makes it a special event to be part of,” Paddon said.
“I have been lucky enough to compete in some Italian national rallies before and the enthusiasm from the teams and spectators is second to none. It will also be a good opportunity to continue to learn and improve on tarmac with the Hyundai i20 WRC from the HMI - Hyundai Italian Rally Team."
