Just home from a two month globe-trotting rally adventure, former Australian Rally Champion co-driver, Dale Moscatt, has not only brought home some impressive silverware, but a Production World Rally Championship (PWRC) deal with one of the rallying’s youngest and brightest stars.

Between recent events with the Abu Dhabi Junior team, Moscatt made a quick trip up to Estonia for a two day test with the E-Art rally team and their 17 year old star driver, Evgeny Novikov.

The young Russian speedster is not only the youngest entrant in this year’s PWRC, but is also the current leader of the Russian Rally Championship.

"Obviously I'm incredibly excited to be joining Evgeny and I'm really looking forward to the events we have left in the PWRC this year," Moscatt said.

"I've done New Zealand a couple of times, as well as Japan, so hopefully having some of that experience alongside will help him out. He is young and there is always lots to learn, but he is already an incredible talent.

“I was so impressed in our tests on those fast roads in Estonia, so for me it was a no-brainer to go to the Vyborg Rally and see how he would go in the stages, and on his first rally using English pace notes. We set some remarkably fast and consistent stage times against a very strong field.

“Anyone who can win stages against the likes of Hanninen, Auriol and Loix, to name a few, is clearly talented. Multiply this by the fact that he is only 17 years of age, and he is without a doubt a super star of the future," Moscatt added.

Moscatt now has a week at home before flying back to Russia for their next event.
