The popular Mt Porepunkah Rallysprint returns again on the 8th of September, and the North Eastern Car Club is looking forward to giving competitors another well run event.

The experienced organising team will again ensure that the event is run to our usual standards, over a familiar route.

This year’s rallysprint will utilise the same route as in previous years, with two eight kilometre stages.

Each piece of road will be run twice in each direction, giving a total of 64km competitive, with minimal transport.

The two stages offer climbs and descents of 460m and 700m respectively over Mt Porepunkah.

While the climbs are good fun, the descents will really test the driver, and vehicle brakes.  The roads have a solid base, and are reasonably tight and twisty.

Competitors will get to drive over each section once (prior to the competition starting) to check the course and make safety notes, if they so desire.

Ample service time will be available during the event.

There are dozens of accommodation options available in Bright, and with an early Saturday morning start, most crews will be arriving on the Friday night.

More information on the event, including supplementary regulations and entry form available HERE.
