December's Mt Buller Sprint will be the last, with the company which runs the event, Mountain Motorsports, succumbing to the financial strains of the current economic times.
"It has been a tough time for a lot of us and the cancellation of two events this year hasn’t made it any easier," event spokesman, Tim McNeilly, said today.
The final Mt Buller Sprint will be held from December 4 to 6, with expressions of interest forms now available.
Organisers are already promising that the ‘after party’ will be one to be remembered for years to come.
