A decision on whether the opening round of the RSEA Safety Australian Rally Championship will go ahead is looming.
"Organisers of the Netier National Capital Rally are working with the relevant agencies, including Motorsport Australia, around the COVID-19 situation and any impacts of next weekend’s event," an event statement on Saturday said.
"We will give a further update on Monday, 16th March and ensure everyone is kept up to date with any developments as soon as possible."
The fast-escalating situation is impacting sporting events around the world, including events up to and including the World Rally Championship.
