Neuville’s comments top off Hyundai’s sorry weekend

Hyundai’s Monte Carlo Rally was one to forget. Not a team used be competing outside the podium places, it was foreign territory for them with a car that was sub-par in its performance.

Fighting for wins is now what Hyundai Motorsport does, but a challenging Monte Carlo Rally started to unravel before the stop watches even began.

Only one of their three drivers finished, and they leave the principality with only 13 manufacturers’ points; 29 behind championship leaders, M-Sport Ford.

Comments from Thierry Neuville questioned the team’s drive and stated ‘not everyone was pushing in the same way’.
